IDENTIKEY Server Banking Edition offers complete solution for secure online banking

Thursday, April 15, 2010

The new IDENTIKEY Server Banking Edition from VASCO Data Security is now available on the market. The software, which supports EMV-CAP based and Hardware Security Module (HSM) based authentication, also offers VACMAN Controller technology to authenticate users and validate transactions.

This software specifically designed for banking purposes utilizes the HSM capability of IDENTIKEY.

IDENTIKEY’s standard technology featuring DIGIPASS generated one-time passwords and e-signature authentication, is now compatible for online banking services. The HSM will validate the OTP or e-signature and grant the user access to the system.

Additionally, IDENTIKEY’s new server edition offers a Virtual DIGIPASS. When using Virtual DIGIPASS, customers will type a user ID and PIN onto the banking site and the site will the send a one-time password by SMS to the end-user’s mobile phone. This then allows the user to access accounts and make transactions with the online banking application on his or her mobile phone. [end]
