Gemalto offers FFIEC guidance

Gemalto announced the launch of its 2011 eBanking Security Guide. This ten-step guidebook for securing online banking offers North American banks a solution to meet Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s (FFIEC) guidance.

Gemalto’s eBanking Security Guide is free of charge and illustrates, step-by-step, how banks best address the new landscape of layered security, risk-based authentication and dynamic transaction verification.

CSC has partnered with identity authentication technology and services provider Daon to produce a biometric multifactor authentication service for the banking industry. The product, called ConfidentID Mobile, provides in and out-of-band identity authentication for transactions in multiple channels, including online and mobile.

Al Bilad Bank, a Shariah-based financial organization in Saudi Arabia, has deployed Gemalto’s Dexxis Instant Issuance solution for EMV payment cards in more than 120 bank branches. With this system, Al Bilad can issue up to 2,000 EMV DDA high-end security smart cards a day.
