PayChoice selects RSA for online payroll portal protection

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Payroll provider PayChoice has enlisted information security firm RSA to implement a risk-based security approach for its online payroll portal.

PayChoice will use RSA’s Adaptive Authentication service to secure payroll data for its more than 70,000 users. It can customize the risk-based authentication and anti-fraud platform to work with its different IT platforms.

RSA Adaptive Authentication also protects platforms against existing and emerging fraud threats, as well as Trojan attacks. Additionally, PayChoice will be able to participate in RSA’s eFraudNetwork community that monitors and provides information on fraudulent activity.

The RSA product also enables PayChoice to institute multi-factor authentication with a simple log-in process. With this product, authentication is validated invisibly by the RSA Risk Engine, which analyzes a series of indicators to verify user identity. [end]
