IronKey releases next generation online banking security

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

IronKey has released the IronKey Trusted Access Platform, a new platform for the online banking industry that provides security through multiple controls, with the goals of reducing the risk of online banking fraud and simplifying compliance with FFIEC guidance.

The company has also released a downloadable, secure browser application as a Trusted Access form factor.

Built on the same security as IronKey’s portable device version, this application includes key logging protection, read-only operation and access to IronKey’s encrypted and secure Trusted Network. This browser intends to fight hackers who use malware attacks to breach security.

IronKey also intends to enhance the Trusted Access Platform with more security features, including out-of-band authentication, smartphone applications and analytics. [end]
