Adeptra, ValidSoft form partnership

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

Auto-resolution technology provider Adeptra and ValidSoft, a supplier of fraud prevention, authentication and transaction verification solutions for the banking industry, have created a commercial and technology partnership to provide retail banks with worldwide fraud protection.

Adeptra and ValidSoft have agreed to pair ValidSoft’s fraud detection capabilities with Adeptra’s product line.

These technologies include real-time proximity-based solutions, compromised SIM card identification and mobile-based fraud detection. These will be added to Adeptra’s portfolio, which includes Decision Engine, a product that combines and analyzes disparate consumer information sets to determine whether or not that customer should be contacted about potential fraud.

The partnership allows Adeptra to expand its footprint and gives it the option of offering more fraud detection solutions to its clients. Adeptra will now be able to offer ATM location-based services, smartphone proximity services and SIM swapping detection and prevention. [end]

Fraud prevention, authentication and transaction verification provider has joined “Get Safe Online,” a UK initiative that promotes safe and secure Internet use.

The program is a venture between the UK government, law enforcement, private enterprise and the public and aims to give free advice to individuals and small businesses to build their awareness and show them the tools for proper Internet safety and security.
